About Us

Byparken is located in Huvudsta at Göran Perssons väg 8, 5 minutes from Huvudsta Centrum.

Byparken is a standalone park cabin situated in a very green and beautiful environment where there is a football pitch, a basketball court, and with Huvudstafältet right next to the building. In the facility, young people can meet in a safe and cozy environment with a nice café. There is also a music studio, movement room with table tennis, speakers, mirrors for dance, a billiard room, gaming room, e-sports and VR room, as well as a film room.

What Does the Job Entail?

• Be a leader in open activities with working hours primarily in the evenings and on weekends.
• Create activities and projects in collaboration with young people.
• Outreach activities, especially towards schools.
• Contribute to creating a meaningful and fun leisure time together with young people.
• Work inclusively and based on diversity.

Please note that weekend work is included once a month (NOTE! Friday and Saturday evenings).

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who has experience in youth work from teenage activities. If you understand the significance of leisure methodology for children's and young people's development, it is an advantage, and as a leisure leader with us, you have an interest in making a difference in young people's daily lives.

We appreciate if you have your own interests that create added value in the activities to achieve common goals. We place great importance on personal qualities and the ability to build good relationships with young people. In the role of leisure leader, it is important to be collaborative and have good pedagogical insight where you create a safe and developing environment. You are driven and have a norm-critical approach. In the role of leisure leader, it is important to plan and organize your work in a structured and independent way while being creative and solution-oriented.
